The recently released pet companion robot R2 on the market is developed and designed by Xiner Vision based on the Beijing Junzheng high-performance AI vision chip. In terms of structure, the R2 has a height of only 94.24mm and weighs 358g. Designed in the shape of a spherical roly-poly toy, the drive wheels covering the entire surface of the sphere enable the device to move more smoothly. Leveraging the chip's efficient processing capabilities and high computing power, along with the unique pet recognition algorithm from Chip Vision, the device can rapidly analyze environments from 2 million-pixel images, achieving a pet recognition accuracy of over 99%.

 

Furthermore, with Chip Vision's automated tracking algorithm and a flexible motion structure, R2 can automatically follow and record pet activities, capturing the pets' movements and snapping the cutest pet photos from the best angles, perfectly documenting their daily lives. Notably, utilizing the TOF + obstacle avoidance algorithm, R2 can intelligently navigate around obstacles during the tracking and filming process to prevent collisions and damages to the device.

Through the app, pet owners can remotely control R2 to interact with their pets. The real-time voice communication feature implemented using Xirui's speech recognition technology and artificial intelligence algorithms in R2 allows pet owners to send voice commands via their mobile devices.
